The Maenad Theatre Troupe is an artistic project started to bring classical music and theatre to the South Shore. Art forms such as ancient drama or opera can seem overwhelming for the curious neophyte. Our goal is to show people the fun in these integral cultural works by encouraging hands-on participation from seasoned artists and amateurs alike to support a lasting passion for the arts. The foundational principles of this group are anti-elitism, collaboration, and a healthy amount of chaos and tomfoolery.
