In September of 2025, we debuted our first play, “Lysistrata” by Aristophanes. Directed by Nic Awalt, this production takes an ancient Greek classic into the modern era with a translation by Ian Johnston and a setting in current times.
While a war rages between Athens and Sparta, Lysistrata and her friends take on a cunning plan for peace: give up all forms of intimacy with their husbands until they stop fighting! Revisit the classic tale of war vs. peace with plenty of goofy twists and turns!
