Madison Christian (she/her) is a South Shore, Massachusetts-based singer, actor, and designer, serving as The Maenad Theatre Troupe’s Marketing Manager. Her earliest project with the troupe was her performance in Ruddigore (Abridged) (Rose Maybud) as part of their debut performance Crimes of Passion: A Valentine’s Day Concert. She took on the role of Set Designer for their production of Lysistrata later that year.
Madison graduated from Merrimack College in 2020 with a degree in Theatre Arts and Psychology. During her time there she had the honor of being nominated for The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s Maltby Award for her performance of Annabel Glick in Lucky Stiff. She also had the opportunity to serve on the executive board of Merrimack’s student-run theatre group the OnStagers Dramatic Society as Publicity Chair. Some of her favorite roles have been Witch (Into the Woods), Maureen Johnson (RENT), and Joanne/Lindsay (Godspell).
By day, Madison works as a Special Needs Paraprofessional, working with students with disabilities and learning differences. Within her school system, she made her directorial debut in a middle-high school production of A Wrinkle in Time. Outside of work, she dedicates her time to The First Congregational Church UCC of Randolph’s music and theater ministries, where she is a long-term performer and resident set designer. She spends her free time keeping creativity alive through painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, and most importantly- collecting trinkets!
