
Rob Gullicksen (he/they) is an actor, singer, and musician based out of Quincy, MA. He is a proud founding member and director of the Maenad Theatre Troupe, acting as their social media manager. As a Maenad, Rob was featured as a soloist in our debut performance, Crimes of Passion: A Valentine’s Day Concert, as well as Ruddigore, Abridged (Despard). He made his sound designer debut with our production of Lysistrata, and facilitated the recording of the show.
Rob holds a degree in film studies from Bridgewater State University, where he also studied theatre and voice. He is a multifaceted performer, taking on works both classic and modern. Some of his favorites include The Cottage (Richard), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander), RENT (Squeegee Man, Waiter), Romeo & Juliet (Mercutio), and Almost, Maine (Lendall, Dave).
Outside the theatre, Rob works as the production coordinator at WHCA-TV, producing original shows that highlight local voices and stories. Several of his productions have been nominated for awards from the Alliance for Community Media. He is also the drummer of the punk band, Project: No Sleep, playing shows across the Greater Boston area. Rob can also be found discovering local coffee shops, growing his CD collection, and attempting to read books that he may or may not forget about.
